My name is Mrs Dean, and I have worked at The John Bamford Primary School for 17 years. I am an experienced teacher and member of the Senior Leadership Team, with a particular passion for Key Stage 1 education. Over the years, I have developed extensive expertise in supporting young children as they build the essential foundations for lifelong learning.

Alongside my classroom experience, I have worked as a Local Authority moderator, collaborating with a wide range of schools across the county. This role has given me valuable insight into high-quality teaching and assessment practices, enabling me to support and share best practice with colleagues across different educational settings.

Since becoming a parent to two children of my own, I have become even more passionate about the importance of the early years and Key Stage 1 in shaping children's confidence, curiosity and love of learning. I am dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the very best start to their educational journey in a nurturing, inspiring and supportive environment.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children and family, reading and drawing.
