Miss Aucote | Year 4 Teacher
My name is Miss Aucote, and I am a Year 3/4 class teacher. This is my fourth year teaching at The John Bamford Primary School. I am part of the Creative Arts curriculum team focussing on Art and Design, Design Technology and Music across the school. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but I particularly love Maths and Art and Design. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, visiting new places, and going on lovely walks with my dog, Cody.
In Year 4, children continue their learning of multiplication facts in preparation for Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check in June. As part of daily lessons, children are given the opportunity to practice their recall of multiplication facts up to 12 x 12.
Your child will read with an adult at school, but reading regularly at home will support your child’s reading development and progress.
